The Ghana Nkwanta Project

Visioning, praying, building and growing together!

On September 8, 2008 members of the Ghana Nkwanta Project traveled to Ghana. The visit was a success. Our Esteemed Great Queen Mother Elder Adunni Oshupa Tabasi enstolled as NuNu Afua FriFie II was given a proper traditional burial ceremony in the Dadaise Adele Traditional Area in the North Volta region of Ghana.

We bonded with the community, met with the chiefs and elders of the villages that represent the area. We met with representatives of the Women's Empowerment Group and looking forward to working with the the people of the Dadaise Adele Traditional Area on projects that are mutually beneficial.

Afrika's soil is our home and identity – as we Build and Grow Community by initiating projects for (Afrika's Stolen and Returning People) and the People of Nkwanta.

Goals & Projects

*Build a Borehole (water well)

Start a Women's Task Force, 'Green Fingers' Project, connecting women in the villages with

  women in the Diaspora.

*Stimulate community food production by home gardening and composting.

Create 'Victory is Ours Garden' in Nkwanta, Ghana in-living Memory of Elder Adunni Oshupa

  Tabasi.

*Culti vate wormwood plants to help in the treatment and prevention of malaria

*Build a museum and library to house the collection of books and artifacts that Elder Adunni

Oshupa collected to be sent to Afrika; as we continue to collectively do the work of Our

  Liberation and Build Community!

Together we will work to build and develop the “LAND GIFT’ that was given for the betterment of all Afrikans. This LAND GIFT will be the INHERITANCE for all yet unborn Afrikan children to inherit. No longer will any Afrikan ever again in or outside of Afrika ever be LANDLESS AND HOMELESS ever again!!!
